If you had root on the ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 before updating to Jellybean 4.1.1 you will realise that you end up with a partial root after upgrading. However the good news is that you can restore full root access on your ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 quite easily. Note: i did have a root backup created by OTA Root Keeper, however trying to restore that after upgrading was not successful. I’m not sure if trying to do that played a part in the partial root i had after upgrading or not. First on your Transformer Prime load the settings app, go to Development options and enable USB debugging, then connect your Transformer Prime to the PC with the USB cable. If you are asked to install drivers download the drivers here. The easy way to re-root your Transformer Prime TF201 on Android Jellybean 4.1.1 Since writing this tutorial many months ago, a newer, easier and automated root method has been discovered for the Asus Transformer Prime on Jellybean 4.1.1 and various other devices. You do not have to have an existing partial root now either, you can root a completely stock Transformer Prime. To root your Transformer Prime, simply download Motochopper, then open the run.bat if you are on…

Bad Piggies is a new game that launched today from Rovio, the creators of Angry Birds. Bad Piggies is from the Pigs point of view this time, not the Angry Birds. The goal of the game is to create the ultimate flying/crawling/rolling/spinning/crashing device and pilot the pigs safely to the eggs! Like Angry Birds i found the game is simple to pickup and play and soon becomes very addictive. The levels progressively get harder, however the fun factor keeps you coming back to solve the puzzles and progress through the game. Best of all the game is free to download on Android Devices, that includes both the standard version and the HD version, i would highly recommend Bad Piggies, if you were hooked on Angry Birds you will soon be addicted to Bad Piggies! Bad Piggies HD looks very nice playing on my 10″ Asus Transformer Prime Android tablet, as the game involves creating and not just firing birds or pigs in to random objects i have a feeling this will keep my attention even longer than Angry Birds did! Bad Piggies Features: ● 60 levels crammed with flying/driving/crashing fun! ● 30 additional puzzles unlocked by three-starring levels! ● Free updates! ● 4 sandbox levels…

Region restricted web content is something that really annoys me, why should i be denied access to watch a TV show episode because i’m not currently in a certain country? A lot of my favorite TV shows are American, however because i live all the way over in England i find that im often denied from watching video content on the TV shows official website. This can be anything from behind the scenes footage to full episodes of the show that have aired on the internet first, before its even been on TV in America. A lot of the time episodes of TV shows on official websites make you watch adverts, so what does it matter where i am? show me some adverts for UK related products if you really must. I cant see how its a bad thing that someone in another part of the world wants to enjoy a TV show? More to the point if that TV show is not even available outside the US, and likely will not be for a long time, if ever, does it really matter if i watch it online? Let fans enjoy it. The fans who cant wait to watch it are the ones…

WebsiteSpark is a program by Microsoft designed to help jumpstart website development for small web development / design companies and Individuals. To be eligible for WebsiteSpark, you must either be: An individual that does not own a company and does not work for a web design company. An employee for a privately held company whose primary business is providing web development / design services for its clients, and has no more than 10 employees. Surprisingly as an individual I was able to enrol in the WebsiteSpark program. Why would I want to enrol with WebsiteSpark? What intrested me about WebsiteSpark is that i could get a licence for Windows Server 2012, something which would cost £100’s if i wished to purchase it. When enrolled you will be able to obtain several licences for a couple of Microsoft Products, including: • Windows Server 2012 Standard (5x keys) • SQL Server 2012 Web Edition (Static activation key) • Visual Studio Professional 2012 (Static activation key) • Expression Studio 4 Premium (1x Key) • Expression Studio 4 Web Professional (1x Key) All the downloads are provided through MSDN. From reading the WebsiteSpark website i gather you will be enrolled in WebsiteSpark for three years, however you must re…

Personal information is worth a lot, especially to criminals. Over the last couple of years i have wondered if my personal information is really secure online, so many major website have been hacked, with users personal information uploaded online for all to see. To me it appears like large corporations and major websites you would expect to take the security of peoples personal information seriously, actually couldn’t care less about it, so it appears to me. Take Sony for example, last year the Sony PlayStation Network and Sony Qriocity on-demand entertainment services were hacked, in what was possibly the largest data breach ever. Intruders had accessed personal data of up to 77 million users, whose real names, email addresses, passwords, home addresses and telephone numbers had all been stored in unencrypted text. Hackers had even posted up Sony-associated credit-card numbers, despite Sony calming credit card details were encrypted. Now that is one massive amount of personal information out there in the wild. 77 million users personal information, stored in plain text. Great to know little effort was put in to securing users data on such a large scare. That makes me think how many other places my personal data is stored insecurely, and how many times my personal data has been stolen in hacks that have never been disclosed. Another example is LulzSec who hacked into…
